Le Passe-Temps footbridge at Le Massif de Charlevoix
Signed by the renowned sculpting duo Jean-François Cooke and Pierre Sasseville (better known as Cooke-Sasseville), this work is set in a prestigious natural setting between river and mountain. At the foot of Le Massif de Charlevoix, at the level of a high footbridge, we find an impressive number of red, green, yellow and orange paddles, evoking in their own way the myth of the hunter-gallery. Made up of French-Canadian legends on the theme of fantastic hunting, this myth includes a purely Québécois legend in which a group of lumberjacks are reunited with their sweethearts only for New Year's Eve, aboard their canoe as it flies through the sky.
