The route begins in Clermont with a visit to Safran Nordique, producer of the world's oldest spice. The project was born in 2016, when the idea of growing this spice "hatched" over a family lunch. Since then, the company has produced over 22 saffron products and planted over 70,000 bulbs. Under normal circumstances, a visit to the site is possible. However, on rainy days, the tour of the facilities is replaced by a moment of exchange and discussion about saffron. You can also sample saffron-based products and visit the store for wonderful souvenirs.
